The River House of Prayer is a regional missions based prayer ministry serving but not limited to central Connecticut. It is a place for believers to join together and cry out to God for the promises of His word to come forth. We desire to see the power of God released bringing forth salvation, healing and deliverance to those in need.
Missions means different concepts to different people. Generally, they visualized missions happening in a foreign country like Asia or Africa. Rarely do people think of it happening in their your own backyards.
If we survey a group of Christians we will hear three different dimensions of missions work. Most will describe missions work as preaching the word of God, and planting new churches. Secondly, they will point to missionaries feeding the poor, clothing the needy, evangelism and building schools, hospitals and orphanages. And a small portion of those surveyed will consider intercession to change the spiritual atmosphere of a region a priority.
It is our desire as the River House of Prayer to embrace all three dimensions of missions work as intercessory missionaries. We will become a prayer furnace that changes the spiritual atmosphere of our area while caring for the poor and evangelizing the lost.

Passion for Jesus - living lifestyles as lovesick worshippers in all we do and reflecting the Love of the Bridegroom to others.
Being Forerunners
Just as John the Baptist was a forerunner for Jesus, “preparing the way and making straight the path”, the Holy Spirit is raising up an entire generation of people all across the planet through a worship and prayer movement who, like John, will prepare the way through fulfilling the Great Commission for the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus.
